A couple of weeks ago, I told you about the Peace, Love and Miss Manners party we had at Nancy's home for the older girls (4th-6th grades). Well, Sunday was a week ago, I hosted the younger group (1st-3rd grades) at my home for an afternoon cupcake party!
Throughout the week I'll share pictures, crafts and recipes from the party. It was the first Miss Manners party for four of the girls, and we all had so much fun!
For the last several months, I've been part of a paper crafting club using products by Stampin' Up. One of their sets was the inspiration for my party. Here's a link to their website and the set I used called "Cupcake Party". I also used it to create the cupcake magnets we gave out as party favors for the Miss Manners Very Merry Un-Birthday Party back in July.
Above you can see a close-up of the inside of the invitation. I designed and printed the inside using my computer, and then cut it to fit the inside of the invitation.
It's so easy to use the stamps, and the inks are so beautiful and vibrant! I stamped everything on white card stock...
and then used the coordinating punch to cut everything out.
I used these to create the invitation, as well as in a craft that we did at the party. More about that later this week.
I absolutely love Stampin' Up, and to be honest, it's not really any more expensive than what you pay at Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Just better quality. I'm hosting my club meeting this week, so if you would like to check out their on-line catalog and order something, let me know by Friday for it to count toward my party. Or email or message me and I can send you my hostess code. It would help me to add more to my own stash!
Tomorrow I'll show you the table decorations, and then later this week, I'll post about the crafts and share some recipes from the party as well.
I'm so glad you stopped by my neck of the woods!
Please take a moment to sign up to receive new posts by email.
I wouldn't want you to miss one crazy thing...
